GEOMETRIC WAVEWINE BAR

Brand: BIANCOBIANCO
Design: Giorgio Canale
Production: A.A.T.C. and Co.
Material: Moka Cream, Jura Grey

Inspiration comes during the cutting phase of the block. Having acquired the shape of a block, after being extracted from the quarry, natural stone undergoes the sawing process to become a slab. Similar to each other when viewed from the side, slabs reveal their uniqueness at the front, with different original textures on each side, slab after slab. The Geometric Wave wine bar is a free expression by the architect Canale along the theme of The Italian Stone Theatre in Hall I, presented as a schematic wave that converts from a maxi chaise longue to a bar counter. In this case, the relationship between water and stone becomes wine and stone in a modular project that allows, in the original concept, complex shapes and large dimensions to be created while limiting cutting effort and simplifying the transport and assembly operations of all the individual elements involved. Chairs, desks, bar counters, counter tops, partitions and barbecues: the modular structure of Geometric Wave can adapt to any type of urban furnishings, both public and private.

NATURAL BEAMWINE BAR

Brand: BIANCOBIANCO
Design: Giorgio Canale
Production: A.A.T.C. and Co.
Material: Autumn Grey
Green Production: Mati 1909, Tenda Verde

The inspiration for this project transpired from the classic shape of the IPE beam. From the beginning – to the middle of the 1800s – the “double T” beam became an iconic structure of metal construction and, in general, the staple of modern buildings in its time. Architect Canale captures the essence of the form and, interpreting the “Naturality” theme of Pavilion 1, The Italian Stone Theater, with a version in natural stone. The idea is to give back this role back to the natural stone building materials, and not just of decoration or coating. A message that goes towards the enhancement of marbles, granites and other beautiful natural stones that, by their nature, can be applied to a variety of project type. The bar counter and American table modules are presented in the exhibition; the “Natural Beam” project by BiancoBianco is also developed in various types of seats, consoles and coffee tables.

PALERMOWINE BAR

Brand: BIANCOBIANCO
Design: Giorgio Canale
Production: Sofi Marmi
Material: Billiemi Spazzolato

Palermo marks the conclusion of the trilogy of Wine Bar projects signed by BIancoBianco and once again confirms the versatility of architect Giorgio Canale, designer of the work. The aim is to enhance the materials and production characteristics, always keeping in the foreground the essence of purity and aesthetics typical of the BiancoBianco brand. In fact, this brand has been committed to promoting and enhancing natural stone in high quality design for over 10 years. The project draws inspiration from tipically Sicilian elements, such as the elegant curves of the arches, which recall the architectural style of the Gothic reservoirs of Palermo’s San Ciro aqueduct, together with Caltagirone’s iconic Moorish heads.
